Developed by skyH4PPY, OpenClassic is a modified version of the classic build of the original CastleMiner Z that implements several new vanilla-friendly features to improve the experience and make the game more playable today.

• Bugfixes: Nearly every single bug in the game has been patched.
• Anticheat: While vanilla CMZ is extremely vulnerable to exploits that can even lead to world corruption, OpenClassic features a powerful anticheat that combats cheaters and protects your worlds.
• Modding Framework: OpenClassic comes with an extremely intuitive modding framework that makes CMZ modding easier than ever, while still being very secure.
• Performance: The original CMZ on PC is notorious for crashing very often these days. OpenClassic is very stable and makes improvements to optimization to ensure you have a smooth experience.
• Quality of Life: OpenClassic has a modernized settings menu that finally allows you to change your resolution and FOV on Classic, along with other new options like improved audio, new blood FX, restoring Xbox 360 avatars, HUD customization, and more! It also comes with optional new features like crouching and hotbar switching!
• Creative Mode: OpenClassic massively revamps the classic Creative mode and adds several new features such as invulnerability, flying, noclipping, infinite crafting, spawning NPCs, and more to make building a much better experience. You can even place blocks like Coal Ore and Grass that can't be crafted normally!
• Endurance Scoring: OpenClassic comes with an optional Endurance scoring system that lets you view your Endurance time and earn points by completing different goals; this allows for easier speedruns and more advanced challenge opportunities!
